BONN – ART, CULTURE AND POLITICS UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
Bonn is fascinating because there is hardly any other city where so much history, art and culture are concentrated in such a small area. This makes Bonn the ideal destination for a relaxing city trip. The former West German capital is fascinating, and its history, along with that of the old Federal Republic, comes to life in the historical museum, the Haus der Geschichte. Art enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the Bundeskunsthalle with its changing exhibits while music fans from all over the world stroll along in Beethoven’s footsteps throughout the city. All surrounded by numerous cafés, restaurants, and small shops awaiting your visit.
Arp Museum in Rolandseck
This impressive museum, which opened in 2007, is located just outside Bonn. The museum consists of the classicist station building and a new building designed by architect Richard Meier. Various exhibitions are held here simultaneously on 4 exhibition levels.

The ca. 12-kilometre circuit (roughly a one-hour ride) begins and ends at the Marketplace.
Beethoven House Bonn
